The Brief

We were asked to design and build a conservatory for a family home near Plymouth in order to create a spacious and bright living area for the whole family to enjoy.

The family wanted to create a larger amount of living space without the need to move home. The family garden was quite large, allowing us to design a good sized conservatory without loosing too much of the garden area.

What we did

After receiving the brief from the family we aimed to design a large conservatory that stretched almost the whole width of the house, to allow the family to gain as much extra living space as possible.

We made the conservatory using large glass panels with low walls in order to allow the maximum amount of light to enter the conservatory.

The extra living space created by the conservatory was used by the family for a dining room and an extra living area.
